Control Mosqitos Safely And Automaticly

Retake your home and garden from mosquitoes and other disease carrying insects by regularly enveloping the entire area in mist of safe, naturally derived pesticide, (pyrethrum). What use is a patio or pool if you can't relax without enduring the relentless onslaught of nasty little vampires?

Landscape And Irrigation Services designs mosquito control mister systems so that the treatments occur on a regular schedule during the optimum times, at dawn and dusk, and last only a few seconds. The mist instantly kills any mosquitoes trapped within, and acts as a residual barrier in their favorite hiding places.

Mosquito misting systems are typically designed to control areas such as back yards, decks & patios, pools & spas, home perimeters...etc. The equipment is installed discreetly so that it is virtually invisible.

The system utilizes a pump and motor, automatic controller, weather sensors, tubing, and brass nozzles, to deliver an enveloping mist or fog of a Pyrethrum based solution from a 55-gallon storage tank.

Our optional service program will relieve you from any maintenance or service concerns. We will regularly check the fluid levels, controller, spray heads, and perform any maintenance or adjustments needed, and provide seasonal servicing.

 Pyrethrum, an extract from the chrysanthemum flower, has been in use for over 60 years. It is completely safe for humans and pets and has long been preferred for use in household and agricultural applications. It is regularly used as a pesticide on produce such as tomatoes, often applied on the way to your local grocer. Pyrethrum is water-based and fully biodegradable, so it will not leave a residue on siding, windows, or walkways.

Our Procedure
  1. 1.   Contact Gary Orsborn by phone or email to discuss your needs.    
  2. 2.   Schedule an on site appointment to facilitate the estimating process. Often, estimates for the less complicated projects can be produced at this meeting.
  3. 3.   Some projects require more research or additional visits with our Degreed Landscape Architect, which will result in detailed Design Plans and proposals.
  4. 4.   After all the details are settled and a contract is signed, the project will be placed on our schedule and preliminary arrangements made with regard to utilities, materials, equipment...etc.
  5. 5.   The project will be professionally executed with supervision and communication maintained from beginning to end.
  6. 6.   Finally, Gary Orsborn will conduct a walk-thru to personally present the finished product to the owner. Training, explanation of equipment or plant care and maintenance information will be done at this time.
